NSA Stop Watching Us

History tells us we need to watch the watchers, and in a surveillance state democracy itself is dead. The quotes above are from a few of the six current NSA whistleblowers who are hoping to make a difference…
It (NSA spying) makes a mockery of our system of government. A free society should not have secret laws. It doesn’t have to present this false trade off between security and privacy.
We need to bring the NSA activity from the shadows into the light of day. We need to end mass suspicion-less surveillance.
One of our basic rights as Americans is the right to privacy, but today every American is at risk of getting caught up in the NSA dragnet including average citizens not suspected of a crime.
The tools for surveillance have never been more powerful, and the threat to our civil liberties has never been greater…
