The public knows very well that most of the leading political reporters are not the intrepid crusaders for truth they claim to be, that Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman played in “All the President’s Men,” but rather ideological warriors devoted to one side winning and the other losing.
If the Obama administration doesn’t begin addressing its weak immigration policy, every county in the nation will soon be a “border county.” -- That’s according to Sheriff Charles Jenkins of Frederick County, Md., who testified before Congress Tuesday about the immigration-related problems faced by U.S. communities situated far from the nation’s southern border.
“You can’t vote nor cast any type of ballot. They (the keys to the building) are in a locked box and no one has the key,” Torsha Childs wrote on Facebook. “You can’t even get inside the building, you are being turned away at the door way. WOW !!!”
Texas Senator Ted Cruz is dismissing charges from the Trump campaign that his recent delegate victories in states like Colorado and Wyoming are a result of an unfair and arcane primary system. In a interview on The Sean Hannity Show, Cruz accused the Trump campaign pushing a narrative that claims that the primary system is rigged.
“Why is it alleged that 125,000 people have been removed from the voter rolls? Why did 60,000 people receive notices to vote that didn’t have the primary date? Why were people told they were in the wrong polling place time and time again?” Stringer said. “The next president of the United States could very easily be decided tonight and yet the incompetence of the Board of Election puts a cloud over these results.”
Comptroller Scott Stringer is launching an audit of the city’s Board of Elections after reports of problems voting in today’s primary elections and the purging of more than 100,000 voters from rolls in Brooklyn.
The things that cripple us the most as a nation are our complacencies combined with the inability to accept the ever changing, shifting paradigm that governs American society. We are in a transitory state as we “morph” from a soft, socialist dictatorship into a full-blown totalitarian state. All of the trimmings are not “garnishing” the platter, as the proverbial goose is not completely cooked. We are heading in that direction daily, make no mistake about it. Simply put, we simply will not believe what is happening to us before our eyes.
This is the creepy, calculating yet diabolical genius of the American police state: the very technology we hailed as revolutionary and liberating has become our prison, jailer, probation officer, Big Brother and Father Knows Best all rolled into one. Thus, to be an individual today, to not conform, to have even a shred of privacy, and to live beyond the reach of the government’s roaming eyes and technological spies, one must not only be a rebel but rebel.
Although the Constitution has utterly failed to limit the size and scope of the federal government, it would still be a good thing for the cause of liberty and property if the government made some attempt to follow it.
“They” don’t value life like we do. Pardon me, but who is “they”, hmmm? Oh, right, the Middle East! I agree. Look what happened when they got a hold of nuclear weapons. They no sooner got a hold of them and they nuked two cities and vaporized a couple hundred thousand human beings. Oh, wait, that was us that did that. Oops!
