In their usual fingers-in-ears-la-la-la fashion, the mainstream media and Hillary Clinton supporters are all in denial that there is an issue with the Democratic nominee’s health, despite mounting evidence that something is seriously wrong. In fact, they’re trying to manipulate the issue to make those who are concerned look like they are the ones with problems because only crazy right-wing conspiracy theorists would say otherwise.
We do not need to guess about such things. Many studies have been done over many years — and they repeatedly show that women and men who work the very same hours in the very same jobs at the very same levels of skill and experience do not have the pay gaps that people like Hillary Clinton loudly denounce.
We’ve had two 50% market drops in the last 15 years. Why can’t we have a third? And if it can drop 50%, why can’t it drop 75%? It can and it will ultimately. But in the meantime, all that money printing could still drive stocks higher. And central banks might take even more desperate measures to keep the game going.
Until the notion that wealth and prosperity can come from a printing press is eradicated from the thinking of policymakers, economies around the world will remain mired in this malaise. Jobs are created by meeting consumer demand. If you provide the goods and services that customers want at the price they want, your business will grow, jobs will be created, and everyone in society will be better off.
Leftists using the epithet racist to smear their enemies is nothing new. They have for years used the racist label to attack and neutralize conservative and libertarian opponents of various government programs and social movements. And they have generally been successful. It seems as though many Americans would rather be called anything but a racist and be accused of anything but racism. It has almost gotten to the point where racism is viewed as unfavorably as terrorism, genocide, starvation, torture, or Holocaust denial.
