What began with the passage of the USA Patriot Act in October 2001 has snowballed into the eradication of every vital safeguard against government overreach, corruption, and abuse. The citizenry’s unquestioning acquiescence to anything the government wants to do in exchange for the phantom promise of safety and security has resulted in a society where the nation is being locked down into a militarized, mechanized, hypersensitive, legalistic, self-righteous, goose-stepping antithesis of every principle upon which this nation was founded.
You might be thinking that government jobs are “good jobs”, but the truth is that they don’t produce wealth. Government employees are really good at pushing paper around and telling other people what to do, but in most instances they don’t actually make anything. In order to have a sustainable economy, you have got to have people creating and producing things of value. A debt-based paper economy may seem to work for a while, but eventually the whole thing inevitably comes crashing down when faith in the paper is lost.
Hillary Clinton is starting to lose support from the mainstream media as her numerous scandals and health issues grow too big to conceal. Several mainstream articles published on Tuesday followed the same trend: Hillary is losing ground against Trump and may very well lose the election, which is an unusual admission from pro-Hillary media.
Three burglars were confronted by a business owner who discovered them loading one of his air compressors onto the back of their truck. When he confronted them, one of the burglars advanced towards him and the owner shot him in the chest and legs. The other two fled the scene immediately.
Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, who has previously accused the Federal Reserve of keeping interest rates low to help President Barack Obama, said on Monday that the U.S. central bank has created a "false economy" and that interest rates should change.
How to tackle the real immigration problem? Eliminate incentives for those who would come here to live off the rest of us, and make it easier and more rational for those who wish to come here legally to contribute to our economy. No walls, no government databases, no biometric national ID cards. But not a penny in welfare for immigrants. It’s really that simple. Good Point...
It’s fashionable at present, to assert that the Second Amendment makes some allowance for “reasonable regulation” of the individual right to own and carry weapons, even though the word “regulate” carries a very different meaning today than it did in the 18th century. It does no such thing. Instead, it outlaws any “infringement” of that right, which means sneaking up on it and nibbling it away, a little bit at a time. Regulation is infringement, and no gun law of any kind is tolerable to a free people.
By now, everyone should know. Hillary is either too sick, or too evil to be trusted in another position of power, especially the highest office in the land. Clearly there is a cover-up (and much more) at work here. Strangely, despite having very “low energy” support among the actual American population, Hillary’s every flaw is covered up, blacked out or justified by the corporate media. There remains the clear suggestion that this is not an election, per se, at all, but something more like an arranged marriage between a tyrant and a population that has lost to the levers of control. Hillary isn’t the only one who needs a doctor; the country is in desperate need of care, but the only provider in the area is under Obamacare.
Last week’s Federal Bureau of Investigation release of materials relating to their investigation of Hillary Clinton has reignited the political firestorm surrounding EmailGate. How the Democratic nominee mishandled her emails while she was secretary of state is again front-page news, which is bad news for Hillary. Particularly because the FBI’s data dump demonstrates clearly that Clinton is either dumb or dishonest—and perhaps both.
Newly released emails suggest a senior Hillary Clinton aide stage-managed her first hearing on the Benghazi terrorist attack by feeding specific topics Clinton wanted to address to Democratic Sen. Robert Menendez, who at the time was acting chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee.
"It's not a police issue, it's a society issue," Johnson told reporters outside police headquarters after a long weekend that saw 65 people shot, 13 of them fatally. --"Impoverished neighborhoods, people without hope do these kinds of things," he said. "You show me a man that doesn't have hope, I'll show you one that's willing to pick up a gun and do anything with it. (BUT.... BUT.... GUN CONTROL!!!)
Hillary Clinton goes through public coughing fits more than maybe any other politician in modern history. Below, The American Mirror has created a timeline of every one of Clinton’s coughing fits this year.
