Conservative legal watchdogs have discovered new emails from Hillary Clinton’s private email server dating back to the first days of her tenure as secretary of State. The previously undisclosed February 2009 emails between Clinton from her then-chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, raise new questions about the scope of emails from Clinton’s early days in office that were not handed over to the State Department for recordkeeping and may have been lost entirely.

By a combination of misjudgment, misplaced priorities and old-fashioned voter suppression, Tuesday’s primary was a disaster. As reported by The Arizona Republic’s Mary Jo Pitzl, Maricopa County reduced the number of polling places from more than the 200 available for the 2012 presidential election to … 60. Sixty? Are you kidding me. --The fact that a voter could go to any polling place didn’t matter much when the lines were so long that many people were forced to abandon the line.

Bangladesh is not pleased with the NY Fed. One Friday in early February, hackers who had apparently been stalking the Bangladesh central bank for at least two weeks bombarded the Fed with requests for transfers of nearly $1 billion from the country’s FX reserves. The good news: the vast majority of that total was not transferred. The bad news: $100 million of it was and of that $100 million, more than $80 million is still missing.

The Federal Reserve’s years-long campaign to sheepishly back away from its own policy forecasts continued in earnest last week when it officially reduced the four expected 2016 quarter point hikes, suggested back in December, to just two. Given the deteriorating economic outlook, I believe there can be little doubt that the Fed will soon complete the capitulation process and remove all expectations for additional hikes this year. Even before that happens, savvy observers should have already concluded that the Federal Reserve is stuck in the monetary mud just as firmly now as it has been since the dawn of the financial crisis back in 2008.

Now, I was raised on Off! as a mosquito repellent, but these days, it seems we’re looking for things that are a little less toxic to the skin. Unfortunately, the easiest and most effective method to repel mosquitoes involves the toxic chemical DEET. While the health effects of DEET are not conclusive, they are scary enough to warrant the government recommending limited exposure. Even though many repellents may have low concentrations of DEET, I’d still rather steer clear of any mosquito repellents with chemicals.

It takes a Captive Wildlife Permit to legally possess an alligator in the State of Florida. So begs the question, if you have a CWP and CCW, can you legally carry an alligator concealed for defensive purposes? What would be the best way to carry a concealed alligator?  I for one would want some sort of strap around its mouth, removed with a thumb break to prevent accidental discharge mastication.
