What in the world has happened to the United States? We are rapidly getting to the point where political correctness is in danger of becoming our national religion. Of course most people would not even call it a “religion”, but for most Americans this unwritten set of rules shapes everything that they think, do and say. Many had been hoping that the spell of political correctness would be broken by the election of Donald Trump, but that obviously has not happened. The forces of political correctness still have a stranglehold on our education system, on all forms of entertainment, on our legal system, and on most of the politicians in both political parties.
The US Drug Enforcement Administration seized $3.2 billion in cash over a 10-year period from people who were never under criminal investigation, according to a Justice Department inspector general report. Agents confiscated vehicles, jewelry, and houses, but mostly cash.
Yet under the Constitution, healthcare is not a right; it is a good — like an education or a gym membership. You work hard, you decide what goods to purchase. If the government gives you the good, that does not magically transform it into a right. Bravo to the courageous House Republicans who recognize this.
Americans paid a record $374,793,000,000 in general sales and gross receipt taxes to state and local governments in fiscal 2016, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. That was up $1,535,980,000—or about 0.4 percent—from the $373,257,020,000 in general sales and gross receipt taxes (in constant 2016 dollars) that state and local governments collected in fiscal 2015. Fiscal 2016 was the third year in a row that general sales and gross receipt taxes set a record.
If you are around someone long enough, eventually they are going to do or say something to offend you. None of us is going to agree 100 percent on everything, and it is a horrible shame to allow one disagreement to ruin what should be a great relationship.
On the evening of March 27, I clicked a link to an article in The Washington Post. Within seconds, the page went blurry, and I got an ad asking me to pay for a subscription. I then went to the home page. I could see the headlines for all of the articles, and all of the headlines were hotlinks. I clicked on several articles, and the same thing happened again. The article went blurry, and up popped an advertisement asking me to pay for a subscription. I rejoiced. I saw this as the suicide of The Washington Post.
In addition to the absolutely quantifiable reasons why the American Empire will collapse, there are demographic, cultural, and societal trends which will contribute dramatically to the fall. The rapidly aging populace, with 10,000 Americans per day turning 65 years old, is the driving force towards national bankruptcy, as this inexorable demographic tsunami sweeps over the fraying fabric of welfare state promises. The onslaught of illegal immigrants and purposeful execution of a plan by the effete liberal elite to weaken our common American culture through the insertion of Muslim refugees into our communities is undermining the shared values which built the country. The immigrants who built this country assimilated, learned the language, worked hard and adopted our common culture. The hordes invading America at this time hate our values and refuse to assimilate. This Soros-funded effort to create diversity havoc throughout the world is part of the globalization one world order plan.
The Fed doesn’t have any idea what it is doing, and this ineptness will be “the ruin of us all,” says Jim Rogers, co-founder of the Quantum Fund, and perhaps the most charming man in the financial world.
“The desire to force upon the people a creed which is regarded as salutary for them is, of course, not a thing that is new or peculiar to our time. New, however, is the argument by which many of our intellectuals try to justify such attempts.” -- The tragedy of collectivist thought is that, while it starts out to make reason supreme, it ends by destroying reason….” -- And as a reminder, this was written in 1944!
We just can’t tolerate people driving around in cars they can fix themselves, that are paid-for and which aren’t generating enough “revenue” for the government. They won’t put it in such honest language, of course.... They never do....
This news presents Trump with an unwelcome but unavoidable choice: confront those who have kept him in the dark about such rogue activities or live fearfully in their shadow. (The latter was the path chosen by President Obama. Will Trump choose the road less traveled?)
It seems President Trump was on to something when he said healthcare in America would "explode," if left alone. ABC reports that retired teachers in Texas are projected to pay double or triple their current premiums for healthcare beginning September 1.
WHAT A CROCK : “The issue goes beyond ‘political correctness,’ for my colleagues and I recognize that words help to create our reality, power dynamics, and relationships among people,” she told the class. “You are welcome to make a statement about your politics, or conscience, or beliefs by using gender-specific language in your papers, and in many cases gender-specific language is called for, when you can discern with certainty the gender of the characters and author you’re discussing. However, I’ll still have to subtract a point or two for any kind of language that refers to all people as ‘mankind’ or readers as ‘him/he’, for the reasons I’ve outlined carefully above.”
As deep state operatives continue to peddle the fictitious Trump-Russia narrative to members of the press and House Intelligence Committee investigators, the American people are having the proverbial wool pulled over their eyes by the actual offenders themselves, Hillary Clinton and John Podesta, both of whom have done business with the Russian State.
A Pierce College student today filed suit against the school and the Los Angeles Community College District, alleging policies that restrict student free speech rights to tiny zones are unconstitutional and infringe on First Amendment rights.
Commentators seem to split into three camps: those who see Trump as a manifestation of smoldering social/economic ills, those who see Trump and his supporters as the cause of those ills, and those who see Trump as both manifestation and cause of those ills. I think this misses the point, which is the overlapping crises unfolding in this decade– diminishing returns on skyrocketing debts, the demographics of an aging populace, the erosion of the social contract and the profound disunity of political elites–will continue expanding and feeding on each other regardless of who is in power.
No, in the American police state, when you find yourself woken in the early hours by someone pounding on your door, smashing through your door, terrorizing your family, killing your pets, and shooting you if you dare to resist in any way, you don’t need to worry that it might be burglars out to rob and kill you: it’s just the police.
During a recent exchange on “CBS Sunday Morning,” ancient newsreader Ted Koppel called Fox News pundit Sean Hannity “bad for America.” But some people truly are “Bad for America.” To benefit the Ted Koppels of the world, here’s a list of some of the more noteworthy offenders.
CBS Sunday Morning special contributor Ted Koppel is well-known for his promotion of state-sponsored talking points during his 25-year long career as the anchor of ABC’s Nightline. Now Koppel is back in the headlines after interviewing Fox News’ Sean Hannity on CBS Sunday Morning and not airing the full segment.

You must own a gun — and probably more than one — for the type of emergency that it is probably coming around the bend. In fact, you should have at least two guns for everyone in your household old enough and trained enough to use them.
Security lighting is the best preventative measure that you can take for home security. This may include outdoor motion lights or other such lighting for burglary deterrence and nighttime security purposes.
Do you ever wake up in the morning lacking inspiration for breakfast? I know that I do! Then occasionally I will have breakfast ready for my boys when they wake up in the morning but when they come downstairs they might ask for something completely different. And who can resist such a cute little face?
Once I started harvesting them, I learned quickly that fresh radishes are bad about getting really rubbery if you leave them out at room temperature for more than a day. After a little experimentation, I learned a couple of ways to store fresh radishes to keep them crisp until you’re ready to use them.
One of the most important considerations for indoor gardening is light. While some vegetables will chug along with a bare minimum of six hours of light daily, they will flourish with 12-16 hours daily. Clearly, grow lights are a must, especially during winter. However, one of the most common mistakes among indoors gardeners is using the wrong type of light.
Disclaimer: I am going to be somewhat verbose and poetic when setting the stage for this article, but I promise to be as concise and matter of fact as I am capable of with the bulk of it. Please indulge me in this, as I not only want to share the knowledge I have gleaned about this topic, but also a little bit of the passion I have learned for it that motivates this article in the first place. Thank you in advance for your patience!
In general, ducks are less destructive and lay better in the winter. But, they are far messier and noiser than chickens. Having both is awesome, though and I seem to get the best of both worlds. Perhaps try them both for yourself and see which you like best. Or maybe you’ll be like me and just love them both!
A root cellar is a great option to include in your food storage plan, since they require no energy to use and require very little maintenance. It’s great if you can build in a root cellar when your home is under construction, but it’s also possible to add a root cellar to your basement, or build one outside your home. Root cellars are a great low-cost, no-energy way to store food and extend the shelf life of fresh produce.
Growing your own vegetables is the best idea if you want to have fresh food all year long and make sure that what you eat is organic. Did you know that you can grow fruits and vegetables in containers? This is a great solution for those who live in an apartment but still wish to have their own small garden at home. One of the vegetables that can be grown like this are bell peppers which need warm soil in order to grow healthy. The first step of growing bell peppers is to buy the plant from a nursery and choose the right sized pot for it.

Have you ever bought something that came in one of those plastic mesh bags? Of course you have — produce… toys… I’ve even seen socks packaged in them. Typically, you rip into the bag from any old angle, dump the contents, and toss the bag in the garbage. I used to do that, too, until I became enlightened by the homesteader’s spirit.
While the Democrats are doing everything to block any alteration to the regulation and the tax scheme supported by Global Warming theories, the refreshing rise of Donald Trump in this arena is allowing free speech to be heard for the first time in more than a decade since Al Gore started this nonsense. This idea that man is the sole cause of climate change and CO2 is the devil, has been so seriously wrong. The Global Warming crowd has been attempting to silence any other research whatsoever.
Last September we confirmed that spontaneous pocket explosions were not a desirable feature for smartphones...well, at least not in the opinion of Samsung shareholders who lost nearly $20 billion in market value over just two days after reports first surfaced of the company's new Galaxy Note7 randomly bursting into flames.
Last year the flu season was predicted to peak in February. However, this year the news media, on cue from the Centers for Disease Control, is starting their vaccination campaign early by planting the idea of vaccination in the minds of senior Americans who are most at risk for the flu and suggesting in doubletalk that seniors wait and get their vaccine later rather than sooner (??).
Constitutional Carry is on the move in South Carolina. On March 9th, H. 3930, a passed the Judiciary Constitutional Laws Subcommittee. On 21 March, it passed the full committee by a vote of 15 to 7. It will now advance to a vote before the full House. Last year a similar bill passed the House, but died in the Senate.
Three teenagers who were dressed in black and wore masks and gloves broke into a home in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in broad daylight. All three were shot dead by the homeowner’s son. Investigators haven’t released the names of anyone involved, but say the deceased suspects are between 16 and 18 years old. One of the suspects had a knife and another had brass knuckles.
I envision a lot of law-abiding citizens being approached by security and then being asked to leave the property, simply for concealing their legal firearm. Alternatively, they could be asked to leave their firearm in their car, opening it up to theft. Or, as many casinos have, they will let visitors store their firearm in a safe deposit box on property. Lots of good it’ll do, though, if you need it.
The antipathy towards gun owners is not based upon stopping violence, but upon reducing the discomfort felt by idealists. For the idealist, letting society take the burden removes both the duty and the emotional cost of facing an imperfect world. For the idealist, protecting the fantasy narrative is more important than respecting the facts.
The author discusses such issues as; choice of ammunition for self-defense, trigger pull, and even the names of guns. Which you may think isn’t an issue, and you are right it shouldn’t be an issue, but often times it is. Remember, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
There should not be gun-control laws anymore than there should be shovel-control laws or broom-control laws. Guns should be treated as commodities just like bananas, apples, and oranges. It is what you do with a gun that is important, not that you buy, sell, or own one.
Leftist attempts to attack American 2nd Amendment rights in recent years were a boon for the U.S. firearm industry. And as gun sales increased, leftists shrieked that incidences of accidental shootings were bound to explode. Not so…
Our father/son team hadn’t just stopped a robbery; their actions caused the uncovering of a much larger conspiracy — the woman who was being “robbed” at knife point was actually conspiring with Boening to rob the man she was with at the time, according to another report from KETK. Apparently, the two had cooked up a plot to rob a man she had met online, and that was the scene that the responsibly-armed pair stepped into.
Political unrest and unrelenting elitists efforts to aggravate tensions between nuclear superpowers is creating a feeling of global anxiety not felt since the height of the Cold War. And as apprehension grows, some of the world’s wealthiest inhabitants are preparing for the worst in major ways.

Because it’s unlikely that the electrical grid will be functioning properly following a major crisis, knowing how to cook without power is essential. Fortunately, there are numerous ways to prepare food without electricity. Here are six of them:
The great outdoors is in fact great. It provides food, fresh air and a chance to unplug from technology and reconnect with nature. Sometimes, though, the great outdoors isn’t so great, turning your fun overnight hiking trip or weekend camping trip into a rough, wet, tiring experience. Here are 8 camping survival tips and tricks to make your experience a little more manageable and enjoyable.
There seems to be almost endless websites, books, lists, forums, etc. that focus on emergency preparedness and all of the areas that one should master to become “completely” prepared for disaster. When preparing to survive the end of the human race, there are some inherent problems with these resources; the first problem is that having a list won’t actually accomplish anything (action is required) and the second issue being that it is hard to master these areas, let alone gain familiarity and experience with all of them.
A document distributed by the FBI to help agents gauge the likelihood that an individual will carry out a violent attack suggests that a desire to avoid government snooping, enjoying outdoor activities and simply having access to weapons are all possible indicators of extremism.
A home solar energy system is one of the best ways to reduce your carbon footprint, increase your home value, and lower your electricity costs for decades to come. In recognition of the many benefits that solar offers for homeowners and the environment, many organizations – including the federal government, states and towns, and electric utilities – have established incentive and rebate programs to lower the cost of solar. Income tax credits, rebates, and tax exemptions are just a few of the incentives that could be available where you live.
If you’re looking to save money on water for your household, consider collecting rainwater. Using rainwater has a lot of benefits, and rainwater collection systems are fairly simple to put together. Collecting rainwater also means that you are practicing more sustainable living.
No, this isn’t satire. People are actually trying to blame the fact that Middle America elected Trump as the next president of the United States for their poor eating and exercising habits. While it is hilarious that anyone is silly enough to think that they are fat because a certain politician was elected, it’s also extremely frustrating that liberals once again are refusing to take responsibility for their actions.
Allan Jones, CEO of Tennessee-based Jones Airways, is offering free one-way flights to Canada for Hollywood celebrities who promised to leave the country if Donald Trump won the presidency.. “Crooked Hillary is a lot like Ms. Pac-Man—she’ll keep going and going and going until she’s cornered and caught! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain,” Trump’s Facebook page wrote. -- The video shows Clinton devouring emails while evading FBI agents before finally being caught. Before being apprehended, Clinton is able to successfully destroy 30,000 emails – an obvious jab at the 30,000 deleted by the former secretary of state.
DNC’s Stinky Strategy : With all of Hillary’s non-accomplishments, lies, corruption, and the recent email scandal within the DNC Convention, how will they ever gain Americas trust especially with Bernie Sanders voters.
